Clover

We grow two kinds of clover, red and crimson. Crimson clover is mainly used in cover crop blends and is a good producer of nitrogen so the next crops requires less fertilizer. Red clover is either used for pastures or making hay as it produces good forage for animals and in a pasture mix helps feed the grasses it's mixed with.  Both make the bees on our farm very happy.
